Job Description:
The candidate will join the Electronic Components (EEE) Team based in Tres Cantos site where the activities that he/she will make will be in the support to projects in the area of EEE Project Support with project responsibilities.
Within the Airbus Defence & Space, in the frame of space activities, Electronic Components EEE Project Support is the entry-point in front of electronics equipment product line (incl. Manufacturing, Design, Quality). Is accountable in front of internal customer for selection, demand management (OQOTOC) and usage support of Electronic parts. This activity includes technical/quality support to end-customer as well as to lower tier suppliers for sub-assembly procurements.
Tasks & accountabilities:
- Acts as the responsible interface between EEE functions (engineering, supply quality & laboratories) and our internal customers. His role involves discussions on technical and EEE design topics, product assurance and quality issues as well as procurement and contractual topics.
- EEE Project Support is the responsible link to the product lines (including manufacturing) as well as the design, project and product assurance teams. Within this important interface role the EEE Project Support is
- accountable in front of internal customer for all topics on EEE-parts
- responsible for EEE selection management , demand management (on quality, on time, on cost) and usage support.
- responsible for technical /quality support to end-customer (internal or external) as well as to lower tier suppliers for sub-assembly procurements.
- part of project core team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Electronic Engineering grade desirably with Master studies in electronic engineering
- A specific focus, knowledge and desirable experience in the area of active and passives electronic components
- Knowledge and experience within space programs as well as the EEE space standardization systems (MIL, ESCC).
Work Experience:
- Experience in the area of active and passives electronic components for at least 3 years.
- Strong Interfacing to electronics design community, with a technical profile mainly focused in EEE issues for at least 3 years.
Soft Skills:
- High competence in team work, cooperation as well as negotiating skills
- Act in a trans-national way, covering interest from all sites
- Customer-oriented mind-set
- High entitlements to quality schedule and costs
