Are you an Electrical Engineer who’s moved away from the tools or is keen to move partially away form the tools into a more support based function within Airbus Broughton’s manufacturing facility?
Due to internal mobility we have scope for an experienced engineer, familiar with providing lineside support to the maintenance team on breakdowns, dealing with abnormalities, planned maintenance analysis, documentation updates and some hands on work relating to electrical systems.
This role suits someone coming from an Aerospace or Aircraft maintenance background, due to the complexities required with fuel systems, structures and build hydraulics.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

Daily / on shift line side support to manage technical issues & continuous improvement: missing parts, Non Conformities, concessions if applicable, Outstanding Work, maintenance, jigs & tools.

Perform Work Order Management for out of cycle work.

Escalate recurrent issues & request support to the Work Prep, PPE, Maintenance, MAP & Outstanding Work support functions roles, if not manageable at level1.

Involve the Work Prep, PPE, Maintenance, MAP & operational support functions roles in the continuous improvement routines of the production team.

Support capacity management : anticipate capacity fluctuation to cover changes in the PLC (product life cycle situation) and grow competence.

Supporting with final assembly liability non conformances to wings (rework), including blends, breakdowns, etc. This will include the writing of Engineering breakdowns to instruct operations on a repair solution

Supporting with hyd/ fuel leaks, rework, FOD (foreign object debris) escapes etc. This will include the writing of Engineering breakdowns to instruct operations on a repair solution.
ABOUT YOU

Electrical Engineering qualification to at least NVQ Level 4 (HNC)

Aerospace/Aircraft Maintenance experience

Work order management exposure
