Job Description:
A. Accountabilities
● This role is responsible for ACEMS EHS governance & compliance assurance.
● This role is responsible for assisting in efforts to maintain compliance, reduce risk and deliver EHS
excellence through implementation of a robust and consistent governance and audit program for all Airbus
entities in China.
● This role will be responsible for setting the expectations for governance, audit, risk analysis and
compliance, driving standardisation of the governance program across all entities in China and partnering
cross functionally to drive sustainable improvement.
● This role will also provide input and support the Airbus China EHS community to build one successful
organisation
B. Main Activities
● Lead ACEMS EHS governance & compliance assurance related topics and meanwhile contribute to safety
culture setup.
● Lead the regulation gap assessment in China EHS network.
● Propose and lead the governance program across all entities in China, coordinating cross entities &
functions to drive consistent application and implementation across the business.
● Lead efforts to make regulatory determinations for emergent issues and remain current and/or develop
necessary understanding of EHS regulations and Airbus EHS programs specific to assigned priorities
and/or job scope.
● Develop and drive local EHS strategy to proactively maintain regulatory compliance and/or industry
standard across entities / functions and be able to develop countermeasures where deviation is identified.
● Partner with Hq EHS teams & other Airbus China EHS community members to set the HS governance
standards for Airbus in China, such as standard for internal auditor training expectations and qualification if
any, coach internal auditor accordingly.
● Provide management of the governance program and drive continuous improvement and operational
effectiveness of the compliance assurance program through auditing and data validation to ensure
information is correctly reflecting business performance.
● Analysis of findings, trends, and metrics for statistical trends, and assist in development of action plans to
drive program improvements.
● Serve as a coach and mentor to the Airbus China EHS community to build and implement robust
compliance / governance processes, audit skills and hazard recognition.
● Connect with Hq EHS Governance & Competence Management team to ensure Hq’s relevant policies,
directives, methods are communicated, understood, deployed / customised according to local status.
Conduct and lead Airbus China EHS community members to perform cross site internal audits in line with
the audit program endorsed by management, generate & follow up the audit reports.
● Back up other ACEMS team members on EHS operations as well as health and wellbeing activities.
● Other EHS works co-work with EHS team members and/or arranged by manager when needed.
C. Client related activities
● Contribute to Airbus China EHS One-Roof Roadmap with the same EHS standard and policy implemented
on relevant sites of Airbus China.
● Lead projects associated with the role including but not limited to EHS policy / procedure / process
proposal, definition, interpretation and implementation.
D. Qualifications
Education: bachelor or related education background
Experience: over 5 years experience and demonstrated achievements with governance safety programs, digitised
systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Basic Skills:
● Fluent English with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
● Good at process management
● Good communication and interpersonal skill
Certifications:
● Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited college
or university.
● Certified Environmental or Health and Safety professional
● ISO14001 and ISO45001 Internal auditor is preferrer

• able to perform the tasks associated with the position independently and achieve objectives with limited

• A considerate team player with a sense of diplomatic and engaging way of working
• Negotiation level of English
Technical Skills:
• team management experience preferred
• ISO internal auditor related experience
