What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early March 2024, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
Job Description
This internship will bring the applicant a view of the Aircraft's Configuration Processes and the use of data analytics in this field, applicable to all systems and sub-systems integrated in a Military Transport Aircraft.
The internship will be done in the Technical Data Department, in the Services area where this activity is essential to guarantee the Instructions for Continuous Airworthiness. The challenge is to ensure that the design configuration is completely in line with the in-service one at Aircraft deliveries' milestones.
As an industrial production chain, all processes and data must interlock and to guarantee the in-service data, validations are performed on Aircraft so a real scenario will be also part of the internship.
The optimization of processes and data analysis is our target which allows the applicant to explore new potential solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Degree/Master in Aeronautical/Telecommunications Engineering
- Advanced level of English
- General knowledge in data analysis (focus on potential data scientist)
- Desired knowledge of MS Access, Python, Power Query.
- Analytical and problem solving skills
