Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Digital Transformation Engineering Operations Support Manager (d/f/m)
to coordinate the activities of the Digital Transformation Support engineers
The overall mission of the Digital Engineering Team is to boost effective real time collaboration across organizations, sites, partners and suppliers through lean processes and joint development platforms to meet the program targets
The successful applicant will be accountable to run the Business Operational Support for the Digital Transformation across all engineering disciplines and sites. The support covers Level 3 support for engineering methods, workflows and tools in multiple programs.
You will coordinate the activities of 10-20 support engineers located in local engineering teams across Airbus sites.

Your tasks and responsibilities
-
Provide operations and cultural change support to the operational engineering teams

Capture user feedback and analyze support requests to derive improvement needs for Digital Transformation

Define, monitor and improve operational support KPIs

Manage the interface with IT Level 1 and Level 2 support team

Continuously improve the way of working of the support team (ticketing system, knowledge base, dashboarding, automated reporting, analytics)

Prepare yearly operational planning (budget + resources) for the support team
Desired skills and qualifications
-
Academic Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent

Experience in relevant field of 3 - 5 years

Agile / Scrum knowledge

Experience in overall engineering processes (requirements, system, mechanic, electric, software, verification, configuration)

Continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma / DRIVER / LBIP+)
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
