Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions (BDAS) is seeking a Business Operations Specialist (Level 4 or 5) (Virtual)to join our Business Operations & Integration team. In this role you will have the unique opportunity to help the BDAS leadership team execute a variety of projects and drive business integration with BGS (Boeing Global Services).

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Deliver outcomes while working in a fast paced, high visibility, ambiguous, and ever-changing environment.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the data collection for monthly presentations of the BDAS business to the BGS leadership team.
  • Working with BDAS Executive leadership team and the VP Chief of Staff to collect information and coalesce it into a meaningful narrative and data story.
  • Represents BDAS executive management business interests with BGS in areas such as communicating business policy, strategy, and direction.
  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.
  • Assists in task management to enable a more efficient use of executive resources.
  • Guides and facilitates the development and integration of projects, plans, strategies, and processes to meet business goals.
  • Coordinates and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet business objectives.
  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning, and refines as needed. Presents plans to executive leadership to gain approval.
  • Utilizes the management systems and processes to provide status information on commitments and compliance to plan.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel.

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate. This position will offer voluntary relocation to Englewood, CO or Plano, TX but not required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)

  • 3 yrs. Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Experience with developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders.
  • Experience in interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to leadership.
  • Experience working in a cross functional environment.
  • Experience working with confidential information and a high level of discretion.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • 6 yrs. Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Highly intuitive and proactive in anticipating others’ needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, work well with various personality types and receptive to feedback
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel as a data manipulation tool (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, charting, etc.) and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools is a plus (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
  • High level of digital proficiency

Typical Education & Experience:

Level 4

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Level 5

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range:

Level 4: $115,600.00-$156,000.00

Level 5: $141,950.00-$192,050.00
