Development Responsible Mechanical Structures (d/f/m)
As a highly skilled and motivated team player you will take over responsibility in the domain of Mechanical Systems, Products and Analyses. In your role as "Development Responsible Mechanical Structures" you will actively contribute to Airbus' exciting human spaceflight and space exploration programmes.

Your tasks

Taking the end-to-end responsibility of mechanical structures and products including internal and external work package management
-
Leading a multi-functional team throughout the development and production cycle

Developing and delivering mechanical structures on time, on cost, on quality:
-
Managing the technical baseline (incl. flow down to subcontractors)
-
Driving the resolution of non-conformances linked to the assigned products
-
Managing the schedule and related resource plan
-
Managing costs
-
Processing changes
-
Managing risks and opportunities
-
Qualification and Competencies
-
Master degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering or equivalent
-
5-10 years of experience in aerospace industry
-
Profound knowledge of mechanical/structural systems and products
-
Solid experience in project management, multi-functional team leading
-
Profound knowledge of cost, schedule and quality management
-
Knowledge of supplier management
-
Experience in systems engineering
-
Experienced in negotiating and stakeholder management
-
Fluent in English, in addition German is an asset
