Design Engineer 3

Cockpit Module Design Engineering will be studying and developing design changes required by Model Year change, Minor Model Change or Full Model Year changes due to Regulations or Market Requirements (competitiveness). Also, to secure all Regulations from USA, CAN, MEX, LAC countries are being met.  Second, to work in team in order to secure accomplishment of Annual Value Optimization Target (~1.7%) by studying, releasing and secure adoption of Technical and PDT cost reduction ideas. Finally, secure Project Quality by releasing Countermeasure for 3MIS & IQS reports. 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Cockpit Module structure
  • Closure of all issues raised during Digital or physical phase (Root Cause and Countermeasure definition)
  • Design Note release for all Design changes.
  • Ensure accomplishment of Nissan and Government Regulations of parts developed.
  • Timing follow up of all new parts developed in order to secure parts availability for Physical Trials.
  • PDT work (secure project budget are met: Piece Cost & Vendor Tooling)
  • Cost Reduction ideas study, release, and adoption follow-up.
  • 3MIS / IQS field issues study and defining final CM

Education:

Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive Design Engineering or similar

Qualifications and Certifications:

Language: Spanish (Native), English (Written, Listen, Spoken) 

Travel:

Open to.

Nice to have:

Preferable VISA, Cockpit Module Design Engineering Experience

Must have:

  • Availability to work at Nistec (physically)
  • Computer Skills:  CAD Software (preferred NX, OK something similar), Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Certifications: NR        
  • Competencies: Proactive, Learner Sense, work based on objectives, team work mindset
