DDMS Project Manager (d/f/m)

You will join the TDSD Department – Digital Design, Manufacturing and Services  (DDMS). The department is focusing on managing the deployment of digital processes, methods and tools that have superior business value for the Program Lines and will enhance end to end operations. TDSD is a Program/Project management organization that operates with the support of the functions (Engineering, Operations, Services, others). Digital Transformation is a strategic imperative and rich in business opportunities.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Management of the corresponding work packages according to time, cost and quality requirements, including planning integration, cost control, progress control, risk & opportunity management, documentation and reporting
  • Interface to the required internal functions (engineering, operations, services, quality) and external technology partners –
  • Participation in the related DDMS Governance Meetings (Project Review Meetings with programs and Functions, etc.)
  • Bringing together the stakeholders and taking ownership of agreed topics
  • Regular alignment with all Digitalization projects in Airbus DS and on Group level
  • Preparation of information as a contribution to DDMS business planning, in support and according to the standards of the DDMS Central Program Office
  • Establish and run the agreed governance to ensure that standardization and harmonization targets are met
  • Maintain JIRA/ Unified Planning / corresponding planning tool
  • Co-ordination of audits

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering / Information Technology / Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • Deep experience within PM is required
  • 1st experience of communication and interaction/influencing with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in working with JIRA; EasyBI, Similar applications for Data management activities and Planning applications such as Unified Planning
  • Ideally some experience in IM, manufacturing, service, supply management
  • Implementation of Visual Management Agile working method
  • Innovation and results oriented mind-set
  • Very high commitment and flexibility with outgoing attitude 
  • English Language skills (negotiation level), second language (French / German / Spanish) would be a plus
