Aptiv GBS Business Intelligence team is looking for a skilled professional proficient in Power BI and other business intelligence tools. The selected candidate will support business teams by generating ad-hoc reports and regular datasets using databases, data warehouse queries, scripts, and other data sources.
Your Role

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to stakeholders and management.

Supporting GBS reporting, suggesting improvement and re-design – via delivery of agreed regular reports, ad-hoc reports and analysis and definition of new reporting sets that best suit the needs of stakeholders and end to end process visibility. Optimization of the way and tools how reporting in GBS is done and shared, how it supports making business decisions

Perform ad-hoc evaluations on process metrics and KPIs and present results to stakeholders, both visually and verbally.

Provide ad-hoc reports such as daily and weekly collection and cash targets.

Support and coordinate data collection when required.

Develop and advance models with rigor and pragmatism.

Establish and constantly improve reporting tools for business stakeholders.

Collaborate with managers to address data and reporting needs for various operations projects.

Execution of GBS automation initiatives – working with Operations teams on process mapping, waste identification, opportunities to standardize and support them with process automations (based on VBA, VBS, other technologies as applicable)

Participate in a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on enhancing processes and delivery efficiency, as well as providing a world-class customer experience.

Create and update desktop procedures and technical documentation.

Support business improvement initiatives predominantly in the areas of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report – focusing on process automation and management reporting
Your Background

Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and research skills with attention to detail

SAP knowledge
-
Passion for identifying and solving issues using quantitative approaches and translating insights into actionable recommendations

Ability to balance a fast-paced working environment with the need for precision, while applying pragmatism to solve data-related issues and achieve fast results if needed

Skills in Excel and/or Power BI/Tableau (or any equivalent visualization software)

Practical experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Data Science

Good communication and presentation skills, including fluent business English
-
Experience in writing scripts, tools, macros to support process automation

Additional programming skills (e.g., R, Python, SQL) and experience with Google BigQuery are a plus

Statistical Methods and Data Modeling knowledge
