We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager who will serve as a focal point for projects on a tactical and strategic level.
This can be leading projects through the development process, developing business cases with external and internal partners, and ensuring the new business meets the strategic vision of our company.
With the reference to Head of OEM Business Development you will join a team of 6 dedicated colleagues, 3 based in the U.S., 1 in Hamburg and 2 in Copenhagen (including this role).
Your base will be Copenhagen, Denmark.
What the job entails
Your overall responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and executing new business opportunities with external partners
- Ensure successful implementation of new business with internal stakeholders
- Serves as a key coordination point and go-to person for projects on tactical and strategic level
- To deliver value propositions and navigate complex organizations.
- Acting as the liaison person to the Satair internal organization and achieve successful implementation of new business
Please note that this position will entail up to 40% travel - often within the region.
What do we expect from you?
- Broad knowledge about the aerospace industry and landscape
- Strong financial acumen to support and lead the creation of business models
- Usage of tools for managing opportunities (Contract Management, CRM, MS Excel)
- Analytical and able to work with value-calculators
- Able to build a compelling storyline and pitch preparation
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills and ability to build up good relations with our business partners
- Experience working in a global team
- Positive, professional attitude
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English is a necessity
- Strong written skills and able to work with written material in MS PPT/Google Slides
- Project management mindset
