Network and Business Development provide the ‘shop window’ and the foundations for our brand, our products, and our services. Reporting to the Business &Retailer Development Director, you will develop our retail partners and their data to enable them to flourish in terms of volumes, profit, and customer experience. You are responsible for ensuring that we have a profitable and effective franchise network, taking the very best practice from the brand and across the industry to drive performance improvement. You will be involved in several areas, such as Electrification projects, Retailer management, GDPR, and Data Maintenance.

What you'll do
In this role, you will be working directly with the identified retailers as well as observing, coaching, motivating, and implementing lasting change. You are a key driver of change and support the wider network and business development team with seamless integration of new and evolving business streams. You will negotiate and coordinate projects with key stakeholders, as well as develop and maintain a good relationship with stakeholders and all other internal departments across Volvo Car Portugal and forge a relationship of mutual trust and respect with the Retailer network.

Additionally, you will also be responsible for:
• Retailer Representation and Viability Plans
• Volvo Standards and Audits
• Volvo Retail Experience
• Legal matters regarding Dealer Contracts
• Dealer Financial Information – DCI
• Sustainability Strategy @ Retailers
• Quality Bonus management
• RPM – Retailer Performance Management
What you'll bring
We believe that you have experience of communicating and gaining buy-in at the most senior levels and with our retail partners. You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously with an agile attitude toward getting the job done.

Moreover, we’d like to see that you have knowledge in Excel and Power BI, a background in project management, strong administrative capacities, and that you are accustomed to working on different fronts simultaneously.

Your job will involve balancing multiple stakeholders so we expect that you are a strong collaborator who can manage both external and internal stakeholders. You understand the importance of not only managing the projects but also getting your hands dirty, hence we would like you to have a structured approach and the ability to follow up and follow through. You are able to work independently, which is important since we have introduced hybrid work and hence won’t see each other every day.

You master verbal and written communication in Portuguese as well as English to work intensively together on a professional level with both external and internal stakeholders.

Furthermore, you qualify by having: Other requirements:

• A MSc, BSc or similar within relevant area
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite and Power BI
• Experience in online business is considered a plus
• Availability to travel
