Avionics Software Developer

Job Description:

A.    Main responsibilities

The jobholder will be responsible for development of Safety critical Real time Embedded software for avionics application conforming to DO 178 B/C standard. 

B.    Main activities

The jobholder will be responsible for software development activities (from Specification to Verification of software) including:
•    Creation of software requirements
•    Design and implementation of software modules
•    Unit level verification of software modules
•    Integration of software modules
•    Integration testing (software – software & software – Hardware)
•    Analysis of issues raised either during testing campaigns or in-service usage

C.    Skills

Experience in full software lifecycle encompassing Software requirements Definition, Dynamic & Static Design, Coding and verification activities in industrialized domains.

‘Must have’ skills:

 Hands on experience on 
•    Embedded software requirements engineering and Architecture (Static and Dynamic)
•    Design and development (module level design, interfaces, algorithm)
•    Embedded Programming 
•    Unit and integration testing (host & target environment)
•    Software configuration management

•    Knowledge about standards (requirements / design / coding)
•    Knowledge about RTOS
•    Strong inter personnel skills

‘Good to have’ skills:
•    Work experience on DO 178 standard
•    Project Management skills
•    Knowledge about avionics systems and network
