Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ATR design office. The Systems & Propulsion CoC is looking for a V&V specialist – Hydromechanical systems.
The Hydromechanical systems department is responsible for Flight controls, Hydraulics, Landing Gears, Oxygen, Fire protection, Doors monitoring, cockpit seats.
You will have the responsibility to manage all the V&V activities of the department, in close collaboration with the systems specialists, and other entities like flight tests, chief engineering, program.
You will be in charge of leading the following activities:
• Support the cascade of aircraft requirements to hydromechanical systems.
• Definition of a robust Validation and Verification plan and strategy for new and incremental developments.
• Coordinate the execution and formalization of the Validation and Verification activities for the Hydromechanical systems department, including those led by the external suppliers.
• Capitalise new learnings from service and development to eradicate recurring issues.
• Support the requirement management optimization and deployment for systems
• Support the systems integration at lab and on flight tests aircraft.
In addition, as a member of the Hydromechanical systems department, you will also be in charge of systems developments, from feasibility to certification and entry into service, and will ensure the support to the production line and to the customers.
These activities will include suppliers follow-up, discussions with airworthiness authorities, interactions with several directorates within the company (FAL, flight tests, program, procurement, safety, quality…).
Technical background required :
A/C systems, Landing gear, Supplier management, System design and development, Validation & Verification (V&V), Flight control system, Hydraulic system.
Soft skills :
Proactivity, autonomy, rigor, comfortable in a multicultural environment, priority management
Education :
Master's degree - aeronautical engineering
Experience : 3 to 5 years
Languages :
English mandatory, French and/or italian would be a plus
