DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Head of Repair Operation & Repair Engineering, your main roles and responsibilities as Repair Technical Analyst will be:
- Support to the worldwide GMA Supplier Repair management team by providing technical analysis,
- perform component engineering studies to increase reliability
- propose technical solutions to reduce average repair costs,
- monitor technical shop practices by analysis Services Providers shop finding reports,
- Support Customer question/claims toward Services Providers (OEMs or MROs), to analyze and support all matters related to Engineering on Components, Main Elements, Landing Gears and Engines.
- lead and/or support LRU engineering/technical project impacting MRO activity
- support RFP campaigns by providing detailed technical analysis of work-scope, statical approach of removal rates (K% analysis), technical assessment of Supplier capabilities,
- lead transversal project as such as digitalization of repair activities in order to step-up technical and cost base analysis.
TASK & ACCOUNTABILITIES
You will be accountable to support Supplier Repair Managers by:
- supporting technical issues related to repair orders (i.e. shop finding reports and quotes analyses including CIDs).
- visiting Supplier’s facilities to assess , challenge Suppliers way of working and propose improvement plan.
- supporting presentations in front of Suppliers, Customers or for internal use that will be needed for dedicated performance reviews and way forward decision making.
You will be accountable to support the Cost Base Manager by:
- monitoring repair costs and set recommendations in case of deviations, need for adjustments or best practices to be deployed to the Worldwide ATR repair network of the approved repair stations.
- identifying, analyzing and prepare reports on warranty rates, no fault found units, chronic rogue units, premature failures, calculate Component’s reliability and removal exchange rate.
- providing technical expertise (i.e. define repair work scope, determine historical “K%” subparts consumption rate) to the Procurement department during commercial negotiations (RFI-RFP).
You will be accountable:
- To support the development of any project that would require technical expertise such as but not limited to Cost base reduction initiatives, MRO Partnership project including innovative and dynamic work scope.
- To develop technical improvement plans towards Suppliers in coordination with all services involved (Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Fleet Performance).
As End-to-End leader of Maintenance Digitalization project, you will:
- define the technical specification of maintenance digitalization needs in collaboration by coordinating all stakeholders involved in the project,
- drumbeat project development
- management new solution implementation and go-live
- management project financial impact
REQUIRED SKILLS
University engineering degree including below detailed skills:
- Mastering of Product engineering and reliability in MRO environment,
- Deep knowledge of component repair.
- strong experience in OEM/MRO industry (5-to-10-year)
- Familiarity with component bills of material.
- Strong analytical skills and proven knowledge and expertise with any tools related to Data Analytics or Data Scientist
- High level of proficiency in relevant software applications including MS Office applications.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent time management skills and the proven ability to prioritize work and manage project.
- A positive attitude, self-motivated, strong attention to the details.
- Availability and flexibility for international travels.
- Fluent in English, other languages would be a plus.
