Join our ERM & Audit department, reporting directly to the CEO, with a mission to enhance Risk Management and its operational aspects throughout ATR.
Detailed description of the mission:
- This role involves close interaction with the entire company and is considered a valued Business Partner to Programs & Functions.
- During this internship (minimum 6 months), you'll be tasked with developing a machine learning-based model to assess and mitigate risks within the enterprise. Your work will focus on data-driven approaches that enhance decision-making in risk management, along with simulating process flows within the enterprise.
- To further improve risk assessment capabilities, we will also integrate Monte Carlo simulations into our analyses to assess robustness of internal operations and to simulate the impact of single points of failure (SPOFs) under various probabilistic scenarios.
- This integrated approach, combining machine learning and Monte Carlo simulations, will be crucial to identify critical failure scenarios, quantify associated risks, and optimize internal strategies.
As an intern, you'll also participate in the development and suggestion of mitigation strategies to ensure robustness and reliability using the model developed.
Your work will significantly contribute to making informed decisions in risk management and enhancing the overall resilience of ATR's critical systems, working alongside experts in the field.
This internship is designed for you
- This position is suitable for those pursuing an end-of-studies internship (BAC +5 level) in the field of Engineering (Systems, Industrial) / Aeronautics, with a duration of at least 6 months.
- You should possess a solid knowledge of Machine Learning, Modeling, and MBSE (Model-based System Engineering), as well as familiarity with programming languages, including Python, SysML, etc…
- You'll also need to be adept at seamlessly integrating into a dynamic team, demonstrating the ability to see the big picture, effective communication, and strong IT tool proficiency.
- Fluency in English and French is required, with Italian being a plus.
