Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for an ARP Release Train Engineer FAL USA to join our Final Assembly Line (FAL) based in Mobile, AL.

The ARP Release Train Engineer (RTE) is responsible for facilitating the Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes and to assist the teams in delivering value.

Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your challenges:

  • Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning readiness, the PI Planning event and System Demos.

  • Participate to and prepare pre PI and post PI event.

  • Assist with PI execution and feature completion tracking.

  • Ensure synchronization of all roles within the ART.

  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt, assess the agility level of the ART and help improve.

  • Ensure that deployment golden rules, strategy and new methodology is applied on all the site.

  • Define and follow up valuable metrics at the train level.

  • Coach leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in Agile practices and mindsets, applied within ARP context.

  • Work with Product/Deployment Managers, Product Owners and teams to ensure strategy and execution alignment.

  • Manage communication at the train level.

  • Communication with stakeholders, escalation of impediments, helping to manage risks, and driving relentless improvement.

  • Facilitate periodic synchronization meeting at train level.

  • Help manage risks and dependencies, escalate and track impediments, provide inputs on resourcing bottlenecks.

  • The RTE is in connection with the Solution Train Engineer (STE) to facilitate and guide the work of all ARTs and Suppliers in the Value Stream. 

 

Your boarding pass:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology or equivalent years of experience is required. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Aerospace and/or equivalent environment is required.

  • ARP / SAP competencies and End-to-End operational processes understanding are recommended.

  • 5 or more years of project management experience is required

  • Proven experience in Stakeholder Management is required.

  • SAFe / Agile methodologies knowledge and preferably with confirmed experience is required. 

  • Excellent Communication (written, spoken) and Networking skills are essential and required. 

  • Customer oriented mindset, adaptive and tenacious/tough capabilities are required. 

  • Good ability to work in a team (internal/external) in a demanding, multi-functional and multinational environment is required.

  • Project Management Skills and autonomous way of working are required.

  • Ability to understand, summarize and simplify technical topics in order to communicate at the right level with different stakeholders is required. 

  • SAP Competencies - Experience/knowledge in PP, PS, PPDS, QM, DDMRP are required.

  • Additional competencies in other SAP modules will be considered as plus.

  • 10% Domestic and International travel is required.
