Job Description:
Airbus R&T in the wing perimeter has focused a lot in the past years on the structural and industrial aspects, resulting in the Wing of Tomorrow concepts and ground prototypes.
eXtra performance WING, an Airbus UpNext demonstrator, is using disruptive wing technologies focusing on wing performance and need acceleration or feasibility demonstration. Our purpose is to fly a remote controlled business jet, flying subsonic, at classical Airbus aircraft altitudes, with a scaled wing heavily instrumented.
The opportunity of a Multisystems MAP Engineer (m/f) has risen within the team eXtra performance WING. It consists of a contract on an estimated 2 year long project, based in Toulouse with regular traveling to Cazaux where the working party and flight tests will take place.
Missions
You will work within the Overall Systems Design team, and your responsibilities will be:

Carrier A/C systems modification definition (ATA27, ATA29, ATA30, ATA31, ATA34,...)

Support systems interfaces definition
-
Support systems installation
-
Support the implementation of the carrier A/C systems modifications performed by the industrial team
-
Support ground and flight tests for all Systems: deliver test procedures and perform tests

Act as MAP Systems focal point
The tasks may evolve during the course of the project, so being flexible is important.
Your Boarding Pass:

At least 5 years experience in the systems design and development

A good understanding of systems interfaces management and systems installation
-
MAP experience
-
Able to take initiatives to propose simpler and efficient ways of working

Have good skills in practical problem solving

Autonomy, Adaptability, Availability, Accountability

Enjoying working in an international, diverse and geographically located team

The successful candidate will be required to work very closely with various other groups, like systems installation, FTI, industrial and A/C manager.
