Airbus Group Job Family : Helicopters as hosted entity but provide shared

service to all Airbus entities in Japan

The jobholder supports the accounting duties for Airbus entities in Japan. Ultimate reporting
line is headquarters in France. Business and all finance activities are performed in English.
Japan is one of key entities within APAC region and frequent correspondence with HQ or
region required on daily basis. This is great opportunity to work with large multinational
group.
Actual responsibility will be determined or expanded per interview.

The job holder is mainly involved in the following duties (but not limited):
1. Accounting:

a. Prepare and assist review P&L and BS, for the company in accurate and timely

manner (IFRS & JGAAP)
- Receive and check vendors’ invoice & employees’ claim
- General ledger (Entry with evidence / SAP)
- P&L (Calculate marketing fee, OPEX_ Check a monthly result, Control
an allocation entry and Accrual)
- Balance sheet (Check balance and movement of specific account (Cash,
AP, AR, Provision etc.))
- (Preparation) Travel and Entertainment report to internal
- Fixed assets (SAP)
- Payment preparation (make a summary file with evidence_ to supplier,
employee)

b. Support of preparing reporting package and submit to headquarter on time, with
analysis of gap between OP/FCST/Previous Month & Year.
- Aggregate OPEX result by function (with cost allocation)
- (Preparation) Financial report to mother company (PL and CF status

with analysis vs FC/OP, last year’s actual)

c. Settlement of I/C transaction and fund arrangement with group companies

d. B/S clean up, A/R, bank reconciliation and lead other ad-hoc projects

2. Tax
a. Take care all the tax matters by coordinating with tax advisors relating to
corporate tax, VAT, enterprise tax, etc

b. TP analysis & monitoring working with external consultants
- Tax declaration (Corporate tax, Business size tax, Consumption tax, Fix
assets tax etc. *consulted by tax agent)

3. Audit & Internal Control/Compliance
a. Support all external & internal audit with monitoring adequate level of internal
control all the time

b. Update accounting policy and procedure if necessary

4. Stakeholder management

a. Interface with headquarter on all questions related to all finance and control

b. Assist external & internal audit coordinating with other Finance team members
and other departments

c. Business partnering for other departments

1. Finance & accounting background at least 5 years
2. Understanding of Japanese accounting standard and preferably IFRS
3. Inter-personal skill
4. Native Japanese and business level English
5. Ability to work fairly autonomously and call for ad hoc support from management in case
6. Experience of multi-national company is plus
7. Knowledge and experience of SAP

  • Working hours : Tokyo 9:30-18:00 (Break 12:00-13:00)
  • Holiday : Fixed Holidays : 8 days per month
  • Adjustment Holidays : to be set per month as necessary
  • Paid vacation : First year *10 days(refer to kitei to define how many days) paid holidays willbe provided if the employee works over 80% days of prescribed workingdays over 3 months.
