The Aptiv Connection Systems team has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join the North America Product Engineering Team with the position located in Krakow, Poland. The successful candidate will be a part of the Consumer Connectivity product portfolio. The Mechanical Engineer will design, develop and validate the mechanical aspects of electronic products that integrate technologies such as USB-PD, USB hub, HDMI, Qi wireless charging, NFC, LED lighting, and GSM.
Be responsible for capable supplier sourcing. Build up corresponding automation capability for business. Research for global automation benchmark of each product portfolio. Develop automation solution to new technology application in front of business award. Leading to build up China local supplier capability for assembly automation equipment mechanical design review, risk assessment & mitigation plans. Screen out any potential automation projects that could drive MFG cost saving continuously.
Position Summary
As an mechanical engineer intern, you will work on the newest solutions that will make our roads safer in upcoming years. You will develop your skills and knowledge in a team working on very large and complex projects. We are looking for curious people with different backgrounds.
