The Product Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning of a product portfolio and provide operational support for existing products. The role requires the ability to develop roadmaps on new and existing products that align with the company’s strategic, operational, and financial objectives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for specific tasks or technical issues as assigned to meet current and future needs for cost reduction. Not only develops and provides resolution to current cost issues of existing products through BU, but leads cost reduction focus. Completes technical assessment of cost reduction ideas, cost estimates, and develops implementation plans, and follows through on implementation execution.
Your Role
This role is part of the marketing team for Aptiv’s Connection Systems (CS) business. CS is a global business generating $4 Billion in revenue, with 20,000 employees and present in 5 continents. You will partner with our distribution sales and product line management teams, as well as the marketing teams at our distributors to effectively promote Aptiv CS solutions.
As the Manager of Operational Readiness, your primary responsibility is to ensure the meticulous preparation and proficiency of all processes and systems, guaranteeing their effectiveness in supporting operational functions. This role holds particular significance, particularly in the context of introducing new processes, services, or substantial changes and transformations (FLIP).
