Work Arrangement
This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Advanced Technical Center in Shanghai, China five times per week.
The Role -
This team will ultimately be responsible for developing and maintaining GM’s infotainment software platform for cockpit and autonomous driving integration functions.
1. 5+ years R&D experience in power electronics Tie-1 supplier(Vmax, Valeo, UACS etc.)
2. Be responsible for OBC/DCDC mechanical design and have SOP experience on existing project launch;
3. Be proficient in mechanical component design including die casting, plastic and sheet metal part;
4. Be familiar with thermal/ cooling design and test method;
5. Be participated in global project and have good technical communication skill with oversea colleagues.
1. Develop Parametric Math Models, ensure data quality and meet requirement;
2. Create components, assemblies engineering drawings and CSD documentation;
3. Ensure compliance with GD&T standards and general design Guidelines;
4. Ensure compliance with Aptiv design procedure and CMII process;
5. Run appropriate design rule checks, support MCAD-ECAD cross checking;
6. Release math data and drawings to GES&PDM system;
7. Preform design changes as documented by CMII processes.
