Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester

Our large workshop environment is designed to cater for all make servicing and is stocked with latest Ford specialist tooling and diagnostic equipment. With ongoing in house and manufacturer training we are keen to hear from candidates looking to join the team and progress their career into the next chapter as technology expands to Hybrid and EV vehicles.

Job Description:

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the service, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of all types of light vehicles in this busy repair workshop.

Expectation to work within industry specified repair times

Work will include working on new vehicles, servicing and repair of customers vehicles and preparing sales vehicles to a high standard.

If you are an MOT tester, you will be responsible for performing MOT Tests and associated duties in accordance with the rules and guidelines set by the DVSA. If you are not currently an MOT tester training will be provided to help achieve this qualification.

If you are an experienced level 3 qualified Technician, Automotive Engineer or Mechanic, we want to hear from you! To be considered for our role, you will require the following skills and competencies:
Experience in all aspects of motor vehicle repair and diagnostics.
Experience of working in a high-volume workshop.
To be diligent and hardworking
To ensure the vehicles you work on are completed to the highest possible standards.
Being a qualified MOT tester would be advantageous but not essential.
A Level 3 Qualification or Accreditation (NVQ, IMI or C&G) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
A full UK Driving License.
His / her own set of Tools.
