Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is looking for a Systems Administrator (Experienced or Senior) to join our team in Hazelwood, MO.

The successful candidate will team with other technical personnel at the ACC facility in Hazelwood which was just acquired by Boeing. Many of the systems will remain standalone but will need to be brought up to standards. Specific requirements will include hardware and software integration, desktop and Linux/Windows server administration, networking, and information security required by the Department of Defense to ensure compliance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.

Some of the systems\protocols\applications that will be worked with.

Active Directory 2003-2018 including: Multiple Domains, MIM 2FA, Root Certificate Authorities, DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, Domain Trusts

Messaging Platform including: Exchange 2013, Skype, Mimecast, SMTP Relays, Blackberry, Airwatch, Glocal Address Book

Clustered Platforms including: VMWare ESX, Sharepoint Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server, Storage Server

Dell Compellent Storage Area Network, Dell Chassis', Dell Blade Servers, Dell Stand-Alone Servers, Dell Fiber and Ethernet Switches

Administration and maintenance of Bit9, SCCM, WSUS, Truenest, Schneider Business Automation, Print services, Global Scan, Vanderbuilt Security, Symantec Endpoint, IIS Web services, Cincom Web Services, TipQA Quality Assurance, Autotime Labor Collection, Coda Financials, Cognos Reporting, TM1 Reporting, Windchill PLM, DSLS/LUM License Management

Backup and restore of more than 100 systems utilizing EMC Networker

Deployment, maintenance, and patching of more than 100 Windows servers

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identifies computing requirements and confers on system needs.
  • Performs a multidisciplined range of technical systems and application activities.
  • Installs, configures and maintains multiplatform systems hardware, software and components.
  • Develops, designs, integrates and maintains all computer applications.
  • Prepares release planning for software and hardware across the system.
  • Ensures system conforms with architectural objectives.
  • Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability.
  • Performs the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations.
  • Integrates security solutions into information systems.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to 3 days a week onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with DHCP services
  • 3+ years of experience in Systems administration
  • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of applicable experience

Typical Education/Experience: 

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Summary pay range:

Experienced (Level 3): $81,600 to 110,400

Senior (Level 4): $102,00 to 138,000
