Who we are

Here at Interior Trim and Systems, we are responsible for Interior Sensing, Roof Zone Module/Overhead Console and Interior Light from a Software development perspective. Our mission is to offer solutions in the area of Interior Sensing and Interior Light that support our company priorities, with a strong focus on Safety.

Who are you

- Be able to provide technical trade-offs concerning systems, functions, modules, components and interfaces and secure deliveries in the decided area.

-We believe that the right candidate has an M.Sc. degree in SW engineering, Mechatronic or has an equivalent competence

- You need to master oral, written, and visual communication and presentation in English.

- A Driver's license B or European equivalent is desirable.

What you will do

- Secure planning, definition, and high-level design of your area content and explore alternatives
- Align the product, technology and program dimensions to a common roadmap
- Realize the implementation of enabler epics with stakeholders, particularly Solution Architects.
- Define interfaces and communicate requirements within the area
- Provide technical leadership, design objectives and principles for technical solutions
- Work with customer’s interests, stakeholders, and suppliers to establish high-level system design, help establish the system design information models and documentation requirements
- Establish requirements
- Operate within the financial boundaries to validate its impact on design decisions
- Supervise and foster Built-In Quality, e.g. provide testable technical solutions
- Work closely with Product and Line Management to determine capacity allocation for enablement work

- Integration of Hardware and Software
- Innovation of future offers in collaboration with other departments at Volvo and Universities, Institutes and Suppliers.
