Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services BGS is seeking a Software Application Tester located in Englewood, CO.  In this role you will be part of a high performing agile team of testers creating and executing manual and automated testing for Aviator, a mobile application used by pilots. Duties include working with business and development team to understand software requirements and translate them to test cases in the test automation framework. Other duties include automated test script maintenance, test execution and reporting.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate in feature maturation by identifying and vetting test cases
  • Create, execute and maintain test cases
  • Maintain/extend the automation framework
  • Document defects, support triage and test defect fixes
  • Support the planning of test cycles

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in the Englewood Office.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3-5 years of automation experience in any combination of the following tools: Appium, Selenium, TestNG, Java, JMeter, Soap UI, Postman, XCTest, XCUITest
  • 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing in agile methodology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to summarize or dive deep as required
  • Ability to work well with minimum supervision and strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using Azure DevOps Pipelines, GIT and XCODE
  • Framework development from the ground up
  • Test Driven Development
  • Automation framework using keyword framework and POM
  • Mac/IOS knowledge using ITunes and Xcode.
  • Aviation software knowledge is a plus.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $118,150.00-$159,850.00
