Tasks
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues that 1st Level Support cannot resolve, addressing problems via phone, support portal, or email
- Identify, assess, and troubleshoot customer needs, working to resolve intermediate to advanced technical issues related to IT systems, software, and applications, while also providing support for basic IT-related requests
- Resolve escalated service requests in line with agreed service levels, ensuring that solutions are well-documented and communicated back to 1st Level Support for future reference, while striving to improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
- Update and expand Knowledge base content by documenting resolutions to new and recurring issues, which helps enhance the team’s efficiency and effectiveness
- Support and mentor 1st Level Support team members by providing guidance, training, and technical assistance to empower them to resolve issues independently
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams to escalate critical issues when necessary, ensuring timely and effective resolution of high-priority incidents
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills: you will be listening and speaking to people by phone, often in some state of distress
- Ability to listen, speak plainly and communicate effectively will be necessary
- Problem-solving skills: ability to analyze and resolve a variety of technical issues, delivering effective solutions in a timely manner
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Proven experience in IT support
- Good understanding of IT concepts (i.e. email, AD, OS, Mobile devices etc.)

- Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
- Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
- Employment contract: Unlimited
- Line of work: Consulting
- Language skills: Fluency in written and spoken German (B2-C1) & English (B1)
- Flexibility & willingness to travel
- Other: a valid work permit
