Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) F-15 International Organization is currently seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and collaborative Senior Systems Engineering Manager to lead the Systems Engineering, Integration & Testing (SEIT) International Engineering team within the Air Dominance Fighters team.

The F-15 SEIT International Engineering team is responsible for the technical excellence of our growing F-15 International portfolio that includes Korea, Singapore, Israel, Japan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Poland. This senior manager is directly responsible for the management of the SEIT engineers supporting the F-15 international development programs from Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering.
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees and first-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. 

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of engineering related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within engineering and/or test.
  • 3+ years of experience in systems integration with systems engineering processes and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with major program design reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and execution of enterprise standard gated reviews.
  • Experience with communication and interaction with other Boeing organizations, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to ensure effective integration and execution of a plan.
