Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our Executive Transport team in either San Antonio or Dallas, Texas, El Segundo, California, Huntsville, Alabama, Hazelwood Missouri, Mesa, Arizona, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Seattle or Tukwila Washington or Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.

Position Responsibilities – Senior (Level 4):
- Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.
- Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
- Conducts and guides supplier assessments.
- Develops current and projected work statement.
- Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
- Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Develops and executes work movement plans.
Position Responsibilities – Lead (Level 5):
- Provides technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs.
- Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs.
- Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
- Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions.
- Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies.
- Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects.
- Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Manages work movement plans.
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Senior (Level 4): More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Lead (Level 5): More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance.
- More than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action.
- More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
- More than 5 years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements.
Typical Education/Experience:
Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)
Lead (Level 5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 75% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $102,850 - $145,950
Summary pay range for Lead (Level 5): $119,850 - $170,100
