Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 4) to join the 737 Delivery Operations BPS team based out of Seattle or Renton, Washington.

The position is for the 737 Delivery Operations BPS Team supporting delivery centers in Seattle, Moses Lake, Renton Preflight, and Decorative Paint. The focus will be on process improvement, project management, and operational strategy development. The candidate will be a self-starter, flexible to business priorities, and possess LEAN knowledge. Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers.
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  • Analyzes and interprets data.
  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
  • Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations analysis or operations research.
  • 1+ years of experience in Quality, Metrology, and/or Quality Management Systems.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime if needed.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Systematic Problem Solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with the One BPS system
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management and self- managing projects.
  • Ability to work a variable shift as needed for business.

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
