Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:
- Leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, complex producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies.
- Refines, validates, coordinates and implements conceptual designs and manages the program architecture for build.
- Develops manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimization.
- Conducts complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Resolves complex technical problems.
- Serves as a project manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design criteria and schedule performance are integrated and maintained.
- Leads advanced design solutions and supports research of new product or business opportunities.
- Deploys company Lean Enterprise analysis methods. Documents and communicates producibility best practices.
- Provides guidance to others through structured mentoring.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 9+ years of work related experience with a Bachelors OR 7+ years work related experience with a Masters OR 4+ years work related experience with a PhD
- Experience in Lean Process implementation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
- Experience with 3D model based instruction
- Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi-Monitor Collaborative Rooms
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
Typical Education/Experience:
Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:
Level 4: $109,650 - $148,350
