Senior Manager, Sales (f/m/d)

Tasks

  • In charge of all business development, sales and key account activities of Porsche Engineering China
  • Build and lead a strong team of key account managers
  • As a leader, set priorities, get results across boundaries and ensure an inclusive work environment
  • Pro-actively develop and execute effective customer strategies which drive revenues and service and product portfolio extension and achieve or exceed revenue targets
  • Conduct analysis of market and competitor situation and technological trends to identify business opportunities and to provide input for company strategy, business and service and product portfolio planning
  • Establish, develop and maintain a strong network to internal and external stakeholders as well as current and prospective customers to generate new and sustainable business for the company
  • Lead the preparation and management of quotations, contracts and other commercial documents and ensure compliance with company, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Lead negotiations with customers for all price and payment related affairs
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports to company management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement
  • Implement agile models for the cooperation between Sales, technical departments and management
  • Initiate participation at industry events, conferences, etc. and prepare such events together with Marketing & Communication and technical departments

Qualifications

  • University degree in mechatronics, software development, automotive engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business development or technical sales in high-tech or automotive industry, for instance at Tier 1 or service provider
  • Minimum 5 years of prior work experience in an engineering area or in software development is a must
  • Entrepreneurial mindset paired with strong analytical and negotiating skills and assertiveness
  • Professional appearance, strong intercultural competency and strong communication skills
  • Good Chinese and English language skills are a must, German is highly desired
