Tasks
- Lead and manage the vehicle workshop team and related facilities at all PECN locations
- Development and strategic extension of the area in accordance with the overall PECN strategy
- Strengthen and extend the capabilities of the technical area especially in vehicle integration, complex vehicle modification, HV system analysis, prototype system build-up, etc.
- Expand the workshop operations into new locations, define facility and capability requirements, lead the facility build-up as well as hiring and training of the team, allocate capabilities amongst the locations
- Ensure successful execution of projects and workshop operations within defined milestones and budgets
- Strongly support the acquisition of new customers and projects primarily in China market
- Cooperation with the international locations of Porsche Engineering Group
- Drive the establishment and optimization of methods, processes, guidelines and best practices in the area
- Responsible for the management and tracking of control variables such as resource utilization, costs, deadlines, quality and technology as well as for resource, investment and budget planning
Qualifications
- University degree in vehicle engineering, mechatronics or related educational background
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in complete vehicle area including integration and prototype workshop at international OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers or international engineering service providers in China
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience paired with strong leadership behavior
- In-depth understanding of vehicle build-up & modifications process well as related equipment and facilities, work flows and standards
- Strong skills in communication and problem solving, structured working style, hands-on attitude
- Proficiency in Chinese and English language is a must, German language skills are considered a plus
- Prototype driver license
