Tasks
- Lead the development and execution of AI strategies, including identifying opportunities for AI integration and leveraging AI technologies to drive business growth and innovation; main domains are data analysis, simulation, Generative Artificial Intelligence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, ADAS, product development, and business units, to drive the adoption of AI technologies across the organization
- Oversee the design and implementation of AI-powered systems, such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, machine learning, and computer vision, to support business objectives
- Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to identify new opportunities for AI integration and assess the competitive landscape
- Set strategic goals and key performance indicators KPIs for AI initiatives and monitor the performance of AI systems to ensure they meet business objectives and deliver value
- Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and talent development to support the growth and success of AI projects within the organization
- Adjustment of headquarters cloud infrastructure to fit Chinese regulations and technical environment, like Azure
- Business acquisition, technical communication with clients and offer preparation in cooperation with Sales
- Cooperation with the international locations of the Porsche Engineering Group
- Representation of the AI and Data Engineering area in the relevant committees
- Drive the establishment of data-driven methods, processes, guidelines and best practices in the area
- Responsible for the management and tracking of control variables such as resource utilization, costs, deadlines, quality and technology
- Responsible for resource, investment and budget planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field; a Ph.D. in AI or related field is a plus
- At least 10 years experience in AI and data engineering initiatives, with a strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, LLM, Generative AI, and computer vision
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience paired with strong leadership behavior
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving the development and implementation of AI-powered products and solutions
- Experience with cloud environment and creation of drafts for service architectures in the preferred cloud infrastructures, such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services
- Experience in working with large dataset and SQL
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Unix/PowerShell scripting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into AI strategies and initiatives
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in AI, as well as experience in developing and executing AI strategies in a corporate setting
