Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to join our dynamic team located in Huntsville, AL, Mesa, AZ, Hazelwood, MO, Tukwila, WA, Arlington, VA, or El Segundo, CA!  This role will be supporting Government Security Products and Services within its Program Management Office.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures
  • Executes or supports Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  • Contributes to enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT) (e.g., participates in the review cycle and decision-making process for enterprise export compliance, procedures (PROs), Business Process Instructions (BPI's) and Desktop Instructions (DI's)
  • Provides innovation and creativity into security education training and awareness program (briefings, bulletins and visual reminders)
  • Completes tasks toward long-range goals, objectives and support organizational performance measures
  • Manages the Security System of Record for Industrial Personnel Security as well as ensure
    operations of access control and intrusion detection systems across the enterprise
  • Work in a cross-functional team setting, collaborating to ensure business and security needs are properly translated into comprehensive solutions.
  • Collaborates with the IT and Business units to design creative solutions to deliver system
    functionality/enhancements to our internal security customers
  • Participates in user acceptance testing for all security system upgrades and major
    maintenance efforts. Create training and online documentation as required to the end user
    community for all security related IT business

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

This position requires ability to obtain Special Program Access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of industrial security experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP and/or SCI
  • 3+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Proficient in the use of Security Information Management Systems (SIMS) applications
  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
