Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services is seeking a Senior Events and Customer Relations Manager to lead a group of events and customer relations professionals supporting Boeing Global Services Commercial. The ideal candidate will have a track record of leadership of tradeshow teams as well as executive briefing centers with pursuit of excellence, white glove service, from strategy through execution and measurable results.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all trade show and customer relations activities
  • Manage trade show budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process
  • Coordinate logistics, including transportation and setup of exhibits
  • Track performance metrics and analyze the success of each trade show
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies and materials for trade shows to maximize brand exposure and lead generation
  • Provide ongoing support in establishing program agenda, overall project/timeline management, revenue generation, budget control, executing logistics, venue selection, vendor selection, systems development, and conducting post-event measurement/follow-up
  • Assist with monitoring of third-party sales team to ensure positive customer experience and following regulatory compliance

  • Responsible for accelerating the transformation of events and customer relations function across all BGS commercial business segments
  • Optimize execution for the unique requirements of each individual business unit, while also capturing synergies across the combined organization
  • Collaborate with product, services, communications, and sales teams to deploy messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for new products and services
  • Build relationships with industry influencers and stakeholders to enhance BGS’s reputation and thought leadership

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options, as well as spend time supporting events and customer relations globally.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and College Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Education, Advertising, Journalism, Event Management, English, Communication, Hospitality, or equivalent proven industry and
  • 10 or more years of leadership experience
  • Desired skills include tradeshow, convention management, event logistics management,
  • Microsoft Excel and Word, project management software
  • Proven experience with managing executive events

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Defense market experience preferred
  • Aviation, airline, aerospace experience
  • Familiar with Boeing, Jeppesen and digital aviation software products 
  • Certification: Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) is desirable

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: 150,450 – 203,550
