WHAT TO EXPECT
Be at the forefront of innovation, as JLR moves into a complex digital transformation journey, data is increasingly seen as a foundational capability supporting all company analytics, fact driven decision making and new smart business applications.
You will own digital products with end to end responsibility for solutions ensuring a direct route to value and a sustainable transformational legacy. This role also brings elements of data product management such as Data ingestion, reporting and supporting data product managers in building data products.
Our senior digital product consultants are technologists, creatives, and leaders who can inspire people to marry a long-term vision and strategy with short term execution. The role balances technological integrity, stakeholder needs with a huge amount of commercial acumen.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Work with business stakeholders across JLR and data product managers to capture the data ingest demand across all domains

Build a framework to capture the requirements, prioritize backlog, enable the requests to be picked up by data product managers, ingest & data operations teams

Create business cases for the data ingest requests

Balance the want and need of the customer; decide and influence on the optimum solution to meet needs utilising technical expertise

Maintain productive partnerships to bring innovative solutions and best practice ideas into the business areas
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Proven experience in a similar role in data product leadership ideally gained within a large, complex organisation

Experience of Product management methodology

Significant data management experience with Cloud data environments (preferably GCP)

Awareness of data ingestion and data transformation methodologies

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
