WHAT TO EXPECT
This role of Senior Cyber Security Engineer will involve developing and supporting cyber security process and methods, as part of the corporate CSMS & SUMS required for UNECE R155 & R156 compliance.
As well as working with new and exciting technologies to provide global services for the connected car of the future, you will have the opportunity to impact and influence a technology platform used by hundreds of thousands of our customers daily, solving difficult engineering challenges on a global scale. You will be a critical part of the team, directly supporting the upcoming legislation and standards such as UNECE.R155, UNECE. R156, UNECE. R157 and ISO21434 for systems in manufacturing.
In addition to supporting our agile teams across OT Cyber Excellence, who are focused on cyber security manufacturing systems, you will also be leading a team of Cyber Security Engineers to ensure the resilience and compliance of all our customer products are up to standard.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Work with the GME Cybersecurity Manager to execute the future vision and strategy plan for security risk management in Global Manufacturing Engineering

Provide support to the UNECEr155/ 156/157 programme team for Cybersecurity risk and compliance matters regarding manufacturing systems, identifying best practice from across a range of industries to shape the most effective ways of working within JLR

Lead role in the management of Risk governance forums including GME technologies to perform regular risk reviews with risk owners and senior leaders, as well as liaise with Product Owners (Risk Owners) to ensure that risks are mitigated and managed according to the risk governance workflow.

Liaise with manufacturing engineering teams to ensure that controls are implemented in accordance with the cybersecurity risks and controls, focussing on those that are particularly challenging and/or high risk

Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARAs), and attack tree analysis
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
This role sits within the Global Manufacturing Engineering Cyber Security in Gaydon and would suit those who are technically minded; be that from a cyber security background and/or those with a software engineering background. You will need to have considerable experience within Cyber Security, and demonstratable experience of leading/managing a team within this environment. We are ideally looking for someone with Automotive experience, but will consider those who have come from a similar industry such as defence, aerospace, medical, rail, etc.

Previous experience in security governance risk and compliance across a number of industry sectors at a senior level, including experience managing stakeholders, and leading a team

Practical experience performing TARA and security case

Detailed understanding of the application of UNECE.R155 and ISO21434

Knowledge of automotive architectures, communication protocols, and technologies

Experience with using JIRA, Lucid, Visio etc.
