Manager SAP Data Migration (f/m/d)

Tasks

  • Technically implement complex sets of rules for the conversion of data to be migrated;
  • Help develop or evaluate the solutions proposed to various customers either during the project or during the pre-sale process as an expert;
  • Design and hold internal and customer workshops independently or in a team;
  • Work as senior expert managing multiple projects in the subject area, considering a variety of products and domains;
  • Advise the customer throughout the entire project on all issues relating to data cleansing and data migration - from conception and planning to the integrative control of migration activities;
  • Bring your expertise to design a solution portfolio - you will pick up new trends independently and develop our range of services in the area of SAP data migration, especially with regard to S/4HANA;
  • Facilitate project planning in detail, aligning customer expectations, project scope, cost budgets, and managing risk;
  • Monitor multiple projects, identify risks and issues in advance, initiate appropriate corrective and preventive actions ensuring the performance & quality as per the project's goals;
  • Ensure compliance with various project management and monitoring processes within the organization and ensure compliance with project management principles, processes and standards;
  • Guide the customer to understand the project, the methodology, and support in decision-making during the project life cycle;
  • Facilitate change management.

Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunications or comparable studies graduated;
  • Programming skills (ideally ABAP) and/or SQL knowledge;
  • Profound knowledge (at least 6 years experience) in Data Migration projects with SAP technologies like LSMW, Migration Cockpit and/or Data Services;
  • Profound knowledge (at least 6 years experience) in one of the SAP SCM modules: MM, FI, CO, PP, SD etc;
  • Profound knowledge (at least 5 years experience) in SAP R/3 and/or SAP S/4 systems;
  • Experience in both migrating data into SAP ERP and extracting data from SAP ERP;
  • Quick comprehension and a high level of logical thinking;
  • Initiative and flexibility, independent and systematic in the approach;
  • Strong communication skills and excellent time management.

  • Start: by arrangement -  always on the 1st and 15th of the month
  • Working hours: full-time ( 40h); 27 vacation days
  • Employment contract: Unlimited
  • Line of work: Consulting
  • Language skills: Fluency in written and spoken English; German is a plus.
  • Flexibility & willingness to travel
  • Other: a valid work permit
