The Sales Specialist works as a primary contact for assigned accounts. This employee is responsible for managing all sales activities for assigned accounts. This position leads overall growth of assigned accounts by setting a strategy to reach the growth goals of the business division. This is accomplished through the coordination of activities with cross functional personnel, including: opportunity pipeline building, product portfolio selling, price management support, opportunity qualification, RFQ responses and follow-ups, delivery reviews and support, ownership of all important communication, and any other task which ensures a high level of customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager may utilize this team member for various commercial tasks to ensure effective account coverage.
General Responsibilities

Drives the sales process to achievement of sales targets and growth

Builds a pipeline of opportunities tracked in Salesforce that result from business development at assigned customers.

Builds strong relationships with customer stakeholders and decision makers

Leads all commercial activity with assigned accounts

Ensures company performance on customer metrics and overall customer satisfaction

Sells the organization’s products or services to, and maintains relationships with accounts
-
Acts as a customer advocate by being a liaison between customer and various departments within the organization, and investigating and resolving customer concerns

Manages sales activities for assigned accounts

Supports the following activities between customers and the internal organization matrix as needed: delivery, payables, quality, warranty and other customer related issues, escalations and discrepancies.

Handles expansion and development on assigned accounts

Relationship Management: Establishing Sensata as a partner with assigned accounts.

Use of Salesforce to provide support to customers and other internal stakeholders in the organization.

Limited business travel required, up to 10%
Experience / Qualifications
-
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience

Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
