Tasks
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, development and test teams, to elicit and document technical requirements and specifications. Driving technical requirements generation from business and product requirements
- Classic System Requirements Analysis: Perform system requirements analysis based on stakeholder requirements and in coordination with system and software architects
- Documentation: Document requirements at the system level and support departments in creating domain-specific requirements. Create comprehensive and detailed requirement documents, including specifications, use cases, and process flows
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear and continuous communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordination and Support: Organize and coordinate requirements reviews. Provide support in planning and estimating work packages concerning time and resource requirements for requirements engineering.
- Requirements Baselines: Implement and manage requirements baselines
- Quality Assurance: Work with Test and QA teams to ensure that requirements are testable and that testing plans align with requirement specifications
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback and discuss requirements.
- Project Support: Provide ongoing support to project teams by ensuring clear requirements, assisting in troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that requirements are met.
- Reporting: Regularly report on the progress of the processing in the project based on KPIs yet to be defined
- Best Practices: Stay updated on industry best practices and methodologies related to requirements management and apply them to improve processes. Support the development and design of the requirements engineering process
- Process Identification: Identify and introduce necessary requirements management processes, tools, and development methods for R&D departments
- Project-Specific Requirements Engineering: Take responsibility for project-specific requirements engineering in development projects
- Technical Changes: Coordinate and manage technical changes
- Infrastructure Creation: Create tool-based and project-specific infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Requirements Management or similar position
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with best practices for writing requirements (INOSE, EARS, etc.)
- Proficiency in requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, etc.)
- Experience with process assessment and lifecycle standards (ISO 33004, ISO 12207, ISO 15288, ASPICE, etc.)
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and V-model processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Bonus points:
- Experience with e-bike or automotive industry projects.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
- Certified in requirements management or business analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.).
- Experience with Model Based System Engineering Requirements Generation.
- German language skills are an advantage.
