We are immediately seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Warranty Manager to join our organization. This role requires an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the seamless operation of our warranty operations. With excellent communication and leadership skills, the successful candidate will lead a team of professionals in providing top-notch warranty support to our valued Dealership partners.
The Regional Warranty Manager position operates within the ‘Dealer Service and Warranty Operations’ organization within the Customer and Care and Aftersales division of General Motors. The primary objective of this position is to drive accuracy and efficiency in the warranty claim submission process by engaging with our General Motors Dealership Partners and other cross-functional teams within General Motors.
Responsibilities:

Lead a Geographically Dispersed Team of Field Warranty Managers / Specialist across US – Provide Strategic Direction with Clear Priorities and Performance Expectations

Ensure Dealer accountability to Warranty Policies and Procedures

Monitor Regional Warranty Costs Drivers
-
Analyze Dealer Warranty trends and address out of line Conditions

Oversee Dealer Self-Review Process, Dealer audits and Regional Appeals

Support Dealer Mediations
-
Develop and host regional dealer warranty seminars.

Provide warranty guidance and expertise to regional Part Sales & Service Field team

Retention and Management of Warranty Documentation, including “Legal Holds”

Oversee Regional Warranty Communications

Manage Controllable Warranty Costs and Lead Business Improvement Actions

Function as a Field Warranty liaison with Warranty Support Center (WSC), Warranty Processing Center (WPC), Fleet and Commercial and Brand Quality

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree

5+ years of experience in service, parts operations or related

5+ years of leadership experience

Effective communication skills and ability to adjust style, frequency, and approach for multiple audiences
