We are seeking a talented and dedicated Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a challenging, innovative and fast-paced environment. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the necessary quality standards and regulations. This role will involve working closely with various teams across the organization, including manufacturing, design, and customer service, to identify and resolve quality-related issues. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the AS9100 Quality Management System, internal and customer audits, material and change review boards, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
1. Implement and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System.
2. Conduct internal and customer audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
3. Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) and Change Review Board (CRB) activities.
4. Identify and analyze trends in product quality and performance.
5. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
6. Interface with customers to address their concerns and requirements related to product quality.
7. Work with various teams to implement process improvements and enhance product quality.
8. Prepare and present quality reports to the management.
9. Ensure that all quality-related activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
10. Continually update knowledge of industry trends and advancements in quality engineering.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role.
3. Certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Quality Engineer.
4. Extensive knowledge of the AS9100 Quality Management System.
5. Experience with internal and customer audits, MRB, and CRB activities.
6. Proficient in trend analysis and process improvement methodologies.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with customers and various teams within the organization.
9. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
11. A strong commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.
