The Graduate Project Buyer will be supporting the optimization of Valeo’s procured materials and services through appropriate contract application for quality and delivery commitments at market leading costs. The Graduate will learn and deploy Valeo’s industry leading tools for sourcing (SoCo), component qualification and life cycle management(SRM). The candidate will also develop project management skills in the daily projects activity.
Responsibilities:

Identify the key suppliers in our panel that best fit our projects needs.

Together with Engineering, complete roadmap\design reviews with the suppliers to specify the appropriate component\service.

Document, with all relevant project stakeholders in standard templates(VRF) the entire Quality\Delivery and Technical specifications.

RFQ and negotiate using all available tools(including auction as appropriate) market leading commercial conditions.

Define and monitor the project delivery schedule, managing exceptions in a timely manner.

Managing with the Supplier Quality team the approval and release for production each component.

Report on the status and performance of the project on a monthly basis.
