Project Manager - Manufacturing, (VCK)

What you'll do
As our Project Manager within Plant Engineering, you will utilize strong manufacturing engineering mindset and previous experience managing projects in the manufacturing industry by taking the lead of complex studies and projects connected to the plant’s strategy.The studies and projects can be cross-functional (Insource/Outsource studies,Vehicle Cycle plan studies,New installations projects,Plant efficiency projects,Model year programs) and require close collaboration with experts from all internal functions such as R&D, Procurement, Legal and Supply Chain.
In doing so, you will be responsible for:

Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans and up-to-date project timelines, including all critical milestones, objectives, deliverables, schedules, resource allocation and constraints, designand project reviews, and risk assessments, applying appropriate project
Budget Management:Identify, plan, submit, monitor and report on project budget,ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraint;
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate regular updates to stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports on project status, progress, risks, and issues;
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality;
Problem Solving: Manage technical troubleshooting projects, address project challenges, proactively resolving conflicts and adapting plans to overcome obstacles;
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies;
Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation, including status reports, schedules, and meeting minutes;
Lessons learned management: Share best practices and knowledge.
What you'll bring
Several years of previous working experience in a PM rolein a highly automated industrial environment, preferably OEM and/or under an organization in a transformation period, or green-field project;
Extensive knowledge of methods, tools, processes, production systems, quality standards and ways of working in automotive production;
PMP or equivalent project management certification, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related process improvement methodologies;
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) or ERP systems;
Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets;
Extensive collaboration, networking, and argumentation skills but also deep knowledge of process design;
Experience from working with permits and certifications;
Preferred engineering university education in Civil, Manufacturing, Automation, Electrical, Logistics, or related field;
Demonstrated flexibility, being able to work under an organization in a transformation period, or green-field project;
Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to give clear directions and reports on ambitions, purposes and results, conversational in English (written and spoken), while Slovak language skills will be a preferred merit;
Proven ability to work within a multinational team, influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
Ability and willingness to occasionally travel, although based in Košice, Slovakia.

Compensation

Base Monthly Salary (Gross) for this position starts from 3.000 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
