Project Manager (Field Based)

Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager within our central Operations function. The department’s objective is to support and develop the operational functions at all subsidiaries across the UK.

Key accountabilities;

  • Manage all phases of each assigned project, including staffing, timescales, and planning.
  • Oversee ongoing refurbishment/relocation projects.
  • Work with external contractors and manage internal resource to ensure deadlines are met.
  • To affectively assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses.
  • Raise any concerns regarding H&S protocols/safety of existing and new sites.
  • Assist with the roll out of any system development projects.
  • Relay issues, potential improvements in a correct manner to the senior management team.
  • You must be self-driven and enjoy working as a team to achieve results.

  • Strong written and verbal skills and to be computer literate in Microsoft package.
  • Capable of ensuring a high standard of housekeeping within a branch.
  • Knowledge of MAM Autopart preferred.
  • Experience in a similar operational role preferred.
  • The ability to undertake hotel stays, involving lone travel and nights away from home.

Position details;

  • Full time position – Mon – Fri – 45hrs per week - occasional weekend work
  • Salary Competitive / Negotiable (Depending on experience)
