WHAT TO EXPECT
Join our dynamic team at JLR as Project Engineer. As a part of manufacturing department, you will play a key role in the identification and delivery of benchmarking projects, best practices, maintenance of the propulsion bill of process and facilitation of the propulsion technology forum and ensure that all deliverables are achieved within time.
This role provides great opportunity to collaborate with external agencies such as Universities and Research & Technology organisations as well as internal resources such as Manufacturing Engineering process engineers, and Propulsion research.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and execute benchmarking projects.

Manage external vendors to deliver research or benchmarking projects

Engage with the technology forums to share best practices for Propulsion Manufacturing Engineering.

Develop new processes and technology and Integrate into the Propulsion Bill of Process.

Provide assistance to propulsion Forward Planning and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
-
Previous experience working with similar role within product or manufacturing engineering.

Experience working in Project Team environment and good knowledge of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project).

Good problem-solving skills and knowledge

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for continual improvement of process and technologies
