Product Release Manager

Position Summary
We’re seeking highly motivated Product Release and Problem Resolution Managers to take part in developing innovative interior sensing technology designed to enhance the safety and comfort of the vehicle cabin. This role combines Release Management processes (SPL.2) and Problem Resolution Processes (SUP.9). Interior sensing is a new and rapidly growing area that provides life-saving products such as driver drowsiness/attention monitoring, seat belt recognition, and left-behind child detection, as well as convenience features such as gesture recognition. In this role you will bring the product vision for the next generation of interior sensing innovations to reality by working as part of a global engineering team to release, document and schedule software based on internal and external requirements.
Your Role

Your main duties would be related to the Software Product Release process and Problem Resolution process (We are able to teach you how to develop and maintain SPL.2 and SUP.9 ASPICE Process)

Planning and coordination of the engineering activities which are necessary for each release

You will have an impact on build, test and release model in our product

Align Release schedule internally and externally

Verify and Approve System/Software reports

Ensure software quality goals are met

Create and maintain Jira structures to ensure timely deliveries

Cooperate with Product Management to create and maintain Feature Rollout Plan

Support Product Management to maintain product backlog

Lead process to track/plan and mitigate existing Problems and Risks
You will have the opportunity to:

Actively participate in technical innovation and organization programs

Lear the Automotive SPICE Release processes

Work closely with stakeholders across global teams to overcome obstacles in meeting program deliverables on time with quality
Your Background
-
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, computer science, physics, or related field of study)

Experience with Jira setup

Familiarity with Python / Bash
-
Proficiency in Linux

Experience working in an Agile development team
-
Familiarity with software development processes (CI/CD) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, etc.)

Ability to speak, to read and to write English

You should be passionate about creating and understanding new technologies and inspire others to do the same
Nice to have

Prior experience in area and automotive industry

Basic C/C++ programming skills
