Product Content Creator
Mishimoto Automotive is currently seeking a full-time Product Content Creator who can generate compelling written and visual content for E-commerce platforms and Mishimoto's Engineering Blog. This position will work alongside the Engineering Department to create and communicate behind-the-scenes content on the blog and automotive forums. Showoff your photography skills by working with the Creative team to produce high-quality product photos for Mishimoto's website, the blog, and marketing materials. The Product Content Creator role will also work with the Product Content Manager to craft engaging written content for new product pages and collaborate with the Product Lifecycle team to continuously improve existing product page content. This role will need to communicate with employees within different departments professionally and efficiently, and must be able to work independently as well as in a team. The Content Creator is a member of the Product Team and will report directly to the Product Content Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Work alongside the Engineering Team to capture behind-the-scenes photo content and compose articles for Mishimoto's Engineering Blog.
- Effectively communicate the content from the Engineering Blog across relevant forums and engage with users to educate customers, and drive interest in our products.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to analyze competitor products and enhance existing product page content.
- Coordinate with the Creative Team to effectively showcase product features through high-quality photography and provide feedback on raw images.
- Partner with the Product Content Manager to craft compelling, informative, and engaging written content specifically tailored for our E-commerce platforms.
- Deliver feedback to the Marketing Team to ensure that customer communications consistently emphasize the unique differentiators of our products.
Your Creds:
- Strong understanding of automotive or similar systems, products, and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required.
- 2-3 years experience in creative writing or similar field required.
- A strong interest in editorial or product photography is highly preferred.
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Keen attention to detail including grammar and punctuation.
- Strong communication skills – you know your stuff and you can engage with your colleagues in a positive, productive way.
- Ability to work within provided instruction and time constraints.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Experience with E-commerce platforms or web development is a plus.
Additional Necessities:
- Incumbent will work in both a normal office environment and garage environment.
- Travel is less than 10%.
