Your role:

The PC&L Operations & Logistics Business Process Expert (BPE) drives the PC&L Operations and Logistics business and operations process (re)design and process improvements, in close coordination with the Corporate IT team to ensure that the proper system solutions are in place to robustly support the execution of the processes and operations.

The main mission is to ensure that all our sites are executing the business processes inside the given framework, identify best practices to model future improved processes by keeping the system standards in place. Additionally, the BPE supports the development and maintenance of a strong community of Key Users in the Plant, Regional and Global PC&L Organizations.

This Role also focuses on keeping up to date with industry standards and innovations through benchmark and best practices.

  • Drives the design and effectiveness of the PC&L Processes in regards to Manufacturing, Freight, Material Flow, Warehouse management and Packaging management, at Plant, Regional and Global level;
  • Responsible for resolving process issues raised by the teams and provide root cause analysis;
  • Monitor and audit proper execution of the defined standard processes and escalate if any deviation;
  • Identify areas for process improvement related to above mentioned business processes inside PC&L scope;
  • Drive the PC&L Operations & Logistics Key User community, and establish the proper communication flows and cooperation with the Corporate IT and SAP teams.
  • Development and roll out of new or changed business processes, create training material, provide Key User and End User training and lead routinely meetings with the plant Key User community;
  • Contribute to the PC&L Global Process Framework roadmap, while constantly seeking simplification and standardization of the landscape.
  • Be the Advanced Safety User & experience PC&L ERP system (SAP) expert for PC&L Operations and Logistics area, keeping up to date with developments in the SAP space and continually upgrading the functional knowledge (in close alignment with the Corporate IT and SAP teams);
  • In case of global or regional special projects, the BPE will be a main participant in the project team;
  • Support the execution of the main transformation projects, in line with leadership prioritization, functional and business responsibility/scope;

Your Background:

  • Bachelor of Science in Logistics, Business Management, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or other relevant area;
  • Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Processes (with preference for Operations, Manufacturing and Logistics related ones);
  • 5+ years of significant Experience in a Business Process Role related to Supply Chain Operations, Manufacturing and Logistics;
  • Familiarity with SAP and other relevant systems/tools, and relevant experience as a professional user in a challenging environment; strong knowledge of SCM module
  • Good knowledge of the English language;
  • Analytical mindset, strongly process driven and used to view the performance through “process and people” angle;
  • Good working knowledge of MS office and integration with other systems; Power BI , SQL, Python
  • Experience in a challenging automotive environment;
  • Skills and/or Experience as a leader & people manager in a global team environment.
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA region up to 50%
